It's one of Britain's most fascinating buildings, boasting nearly nine centuries of history. Temple Church was built by the holy order of the Knights Templar in the 12th century. The iconic round tower was consecrated by Heraclius, the Patriarch of Jerusalem in 1185. The design of the round tower was intended to resemble the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

She gets inside the tiny penitential cell where Walter Bachelor was supposedly starved to death on the orders of the Master of the Temple. She discovers how the Temple was rebuilt after one of the most devastating German air raids of the Blitz during World War Two.
