Am an ardent fan of Dan Snow's History Hit and enjoy listening the pods travelling through Shanghai where I live and work on my motor scooter. Just a bit disappointed that the updates from the Shackelton/Endurance trip isn't giving us some film footage daily instead of just 40 secs of audio. Any reason that in this age of amazing technology we can't get that?
I had the same question as Mr. Mclean. I'm basing my renewal on this expedition, and the documentation of it. Its a fascinating project to me. I hope the crew is doing well. im wishing them all the best.
I hope you will be pleased to see that there are now several films and podcasts relating to the Endurance 22 expedition on the site. We will also be posting the first episode of a specially made 2-part series on the story of Shackleton and the Endurance in the next couple of days. We are continuing to film for this with Dan Snow whilst he is in the Antarctic.
well done Bill - totally awesome!!!!
Yes, have seen some now. Not sure why it took so long to come on as its exactly what we want to see about this exciting search.
So blown away Dan and Team - congratulations on finding Endurance - just unbelievable!!!
Clearly a hell of an operation, awesome logistics, great mission, great outcome - well done guys - from merely talking about history to literally cracking it wide open!
Awesome

Just to let you all know that we have more films about Shackleton and Endurance coming your way over the next couple of weeks, including episode 2 of the documentary series Dan has been filming on the ice. It does take time to upload top quality footage (satellite signal to/from Antarctica is variable at best) and then edit it - but rest assured there's plenty more to come. Bill - History Hit
And thanks very much for all the messages of support - we are delighted that so many people of all ages have enjoyed and been inspired by the films and podcasts. It really means a lot to the team both on Agulhas II and in London. Bill - History Hit
