I watched the unbelievers, I look at society today and all I see is that lack of faith in something higher then yourself leads to unbridled narcissism in spite of its best intentions , They want the sense of community without the obedience to a higher ethical system, what i would have liked is a documentary with opposing view points on the issue

All the contents are great, I don't know what to choose. But it would be great having more videos with subtitles.

I really enjoyed my first experience of this site - a podcast on the French Revolution. And a quick search of the site reveals many stimulating programs. However, in a dedicated history site I would like to see details of when the program was made, together with at least a brief biography of the historian on whom the program is based. Some of these details may be provided in other programs - videos for example - but this was not provided, except for an extremely brief background on the historian, in the French Revolution podcast.

I agree, no disrespect to the gentleman, but DAN SNOW really irritates me,
with his style, I have to keep turning, what looks like a good topic, and turning it off
he seems ubiquitous.
Apart from that, love this streaming channel. Ray Mears was great.

The content on History Hit is good, and some of it is even excellent. The platform however, is infuriating! Because of some sort of browser compatibility issues (not sure why, my Chrome is up to date and works fine for everything else), I could not get registered with the activation code - that took hours. Now I have the app loaded onto my Samsung smart TV, and it either gives me an unresponsive black screen, or if it does work I have to log in with a new activation code every time. Also, there is no search feature - you just have to scroll and hope you come across the content you want. I have zero problems with YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Apple TV or any other app, but HistoryHit never works. At this point, I just want my money back.

Hi – I greatly enjoy history, hit, and thanks for it. Living in Australia, I am certain that eventually the ancients must come to a series of programs about aboriginal history and culture. The fact that this is the longest, continuous civilisation in earths history, is reason enough. However, what fascinates me, is the fact that aboriginal culture existed and developed for 50,000 years, separately and on its own, before Western culture came along. I am fascinated by the fact that a pervading sense of disinterest/ apathy by the Aboriginal people was projected towards what the West had to offer - and this was a great puzzle to the first English Explorers..To my eye, elements of this continues today. Anyway, that's what I would like to see explored – but there is so much more. Cheers and thanks for your programs. Neil

We recently signed up for History Hit with lots of enthusiasm. Unfortunately after a month or so of use we’re both somewhat underwhelmed. Some of the Dan Snow conversations with historians have pretty awful audio.
The questions you have written on the screen with knowledgable persons talking about historical characters is also questionable. It does get somewhat boring, and we think that’s probably the last thing you want your viewers to think.
On the whole the channel it appears to be very amateur, we hope this improves in the future. Will be signing off for now. Good luck!!

I love listening to the podcasts. Favourites being After Dark and Betwixt The Sheets. Great content and the hosts are brilliant. History Hit has masterful storytelling with Dan Snow. However, the platform needs some fixing - I joined up on the HH Channel, and then had trouble accessing the podcasts. Long story short - cancelled the channel, signed up on the podcasts then realized for $10 more, I could have both. I can't get anywhere with Customer Support - very frustrating. Please, HH, if you're reading this, help!!
